Minister for Health and Population and youth leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Gagan Thapa has stressed the need to endorse the impeachment motion filed against the Chief of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki in the Legislature-Parliament. Minister Thapa said that NC being the largest party in the House has to act strictly on the part of Karki. He said, "The impeachment motion against Karki was filed after holding the discussion with the party president Deuba. So I think NC will present strictly against him. According to Thapa, the NC Central Committee (CC) meeting, scheduled to be held today, will hold discussion on Karki's impeachment motion. "I believe that today's CC meet will decide to endorse the motion with a majority of votes."
