People, who need to return their homes to celebrate the biggest festival of Hindus, Dashain, can now book their bus tickets in advance, starting from September 23. After the agreement reached between Transport Entrepreneurs and Transport Management Department , people can now pre-book their tickets . Earlier, the Department failed to come to the agreement on opening date for advance bus ticket booking due to the disputes in fixing the AC buses' fares. According to the transport entrepreneurs, more than 1.5 million people book tickets to travel to their homes during Dashain. This year, it is estimated to cross 2 million as many people did not travel last year due to the blockade imposed by India that cause fuel shortage.
