KATHMANDU: Three election-related bills were tabled at the Legislature-Parliament on Tuesday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi tabled the Bill to Amend and Integrate Laws related Functions, Duties and Powers of Election Commission- 2073 BS ; Bill to Amend and Integrate Laws related to Voters’ List- 2073 BS and Bill to Amend and Integrate Laws related to Political Parties- 2073 BS at the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament today.
The bills were registered at the Parliament Secretariat yesterday.
The government introduced the bills to the House as it seeks a legal way out for holding the local, provincial and central level elections.
