सन्ध्याले अघिल्लो सरकारमा खगराज अभिकारी स्वास्थमन्त्री हुँदा आफूले उपचारमा सहयोग गर्न आग्रह गर्दै निवेदन दिएको मन्त्रीले सहयोग गर्नेपनि भने तर आफूले सहयोग पाउन नसकेको दुखेसो गरिन् ।
सन्ध्याको दुखेसो सुनेपछि भावुक भएका मन्त्री थापाले आम नेपालीले स्वास्थ उपचारमा समान पहुँच राख्न सकुन् भनेर नीतिगत रुपमा काम गरिरहेको बताए ।
अघिल्लो सरकारको पालामा सन्ध्याको उपचारको फाइल मन्त्रालयमा पुगिसकेको आफुले आफ्नो सचिवालयबाट पनि जानकारी पाएकोले त्यो फाइललाई खोजेर अघि बढाउने र के कस्तो सुविधा उपलब्ध गराउन सकिन्छ त्यसबारे सचिवालयलाई निर्देशन दिने बताए ।
मन्त्री थापाले सन्ध्याले उठाएका उनका पीडाका विषयका अतिरिक्त कतिपय आचरणगत रुपमा सुधार्नुपर्ने विषयहरु रहेको बताए । यी सबै विषयलाई आफूले मन्त्री भएको समयभित्र टुङ्ग्याउने पहल गरिरहेको र सन्ध्याले उठाएका विकृति र विसंगति कम गर्न आफू लागिपर्ने बताए ।
