The government has decided to
provide additional Rs 15,000 to each landslide-hit family of Pyuthan
district for Dashain festival.
A Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Thursday morning made the decision to this effect.The government had earlier provided Rs 10,000 to landslide-affected families of the district.
Earlier on October 1, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal had announced that the government would provide additional Rs 15,000 to landslide-affected families of Pyuthan district for Dashain festival.Similarly, the meeting has appointed former Secretary Madhu Raman Acharya and Suresh Man Shrestha at a committee to evaluate performance of secretaries and joint secretaries under the Civil Service.
